“I’m leaving motivated”: In Moulinet, Robert Piniello is aiming for a new mandate

The mayor of Moulinet has announced his candidacy for the next municipal elections, with the support of a competent team and a renewed vision for his town.
Robert Piniello is a satisfied mayor. On August 8, he received Maud Caruhel, vice-president of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. "Since I had given several conferences where I spoke about the management of my municipality, she was interested in coming to visit," says the mayor.
He showed the regional councillor around the village, its unique features, its heritage, and especially its churches. "Then we chatted with our guest. There were about thirty of us in total, including residents and the mayors of the communes of Monbahus and Monviel. Farmers were also there with us. Everyone was able to ask questions, Maud Caruhel listened to us and answered our questions," emphasized Robert Piniello, rather pleased that the Nouvelle-Aquitaine councillor had chosen to come and take the pulse of the vitality of the small communes in the heart of his village. "We also learned things; she explained and reminded us of what the region is putting in place, particularly for our territories and for the maintenance of certain programs."
“Another vision of my role”Robert Piniello's other source of pride: his decision to run for re-election in 2026. "Even though I didn't want to at first. But today I'm coming with a different vision of my role. I know I can rely on competent, trustworthy, and committed people. I'm leaving motivated. Because I'm training potential future deputies. I exhausted myself during this term; perhaps I wanted too much. But now I want to be able to take breaks and enjoy my family a little," he said.
The mayor hopes to have "successfully cast the casting call, with an active team." He even had to, reluctantly, put people on "a waiting list, since we were already full." Robert Piniello wants to relieve himself of some of his responsibilities while supporting his running mates: "As a good manager, I won't let them down; I'll be there to guide them."
For the next term, he discusses the continuation of current projects, "including the restoration of churches." He would also like to launch events "such as cyclosportive meetings that bring together and showcase our region."
